Embark on an unforgettable journey to the Karpaz Peninsula, starting conveniently from either Kyrenia or Nicosia! If we begin from Kyrenia, prepare for a breathtaking drive along the scenic northern coast, setting the stage for a day of discovery.

Our first stop is the charming Byzantine church of Panagia Pergaminiotissa, a beautifully restored 12th-century gem that now doubles as a nature exhibition center. Wander through its delightful garden, featuring intricate miniature models of Cyprus's most important landmarks, including a replica of Nicosia's grand Gothic cathedral.

Coastal Views & Wild Encounters

We then continue to Karpaz Gate Marina, a modern complex offering stunning coastal views and a chance to soak in the serene atmosphere. Our route then winds to the village of Dipkarpaz (Rizokarpaso), nestled near the peninsula's tip, where we'll enjoy a short coffee break. This region is famous for its endearing wild donkeys! They're quite accustomed to visitors, so keep your cameras ready—especially if you've brought along some apples or carrots for a close encounter!

Next, we visit the Monastery of Apostolos Andreas (St. Andrew), one of the most significant pilgrimage sites for Orthodox Christians in Cyprus. Recently renovated, this monastery offers a profound insight into the island's rich religious history and cultural heritage.

Golden Sands & Seaside Delights

We'll make a brief stop at Golden Beach, truly one of Cyprus’s most untouched natural coastlines. It’s the perfect spot for stunning photos and simply soaking in the serene view. Lunch awaits at a delightful local seaside restaurant, serving up authentic traditional dishes. During the summer months, we'll even include a refreshing swimming break at Ayfilon Beach, giving you time to relax and enjoy the crystal-clear waters.

After a fantastic lunch and some leisurely time, we'll return to our original meeting point, concluding a day rich in history, captivating nature, and vibrant local culture!
