Embark on an unforgettable journey to the unspoiled west coast of Northern Cyprus, a captivating region of rolling green meadows, fragrant citrus orchards, and charming traditional villages! This tour, starting conveniently from either Kyrenia or Nicosia, takes you off the beaten path to discover a unique blend of nature, history, and authentic local culture.

Our adventure begins with a scenic drive through beautiful orange groves on our way to Güzelyurt (Morphou). Here, we'll visit the beautifully preserved 18th-century St. Mamas Church and its fascinating Icon Museum. Nearby, explore the Nature Museum, showcasing diverse native wildlife, and the Archaeological Museum, home to incredible treasures like the famous “Golden Leaves of Soli.”

Ancient Kingdoms, Persian Palaces & Breathtaking Views

Next, we head to Soli, an ancient kingdom dating back to the 6th century BC. Highlights include a grand Roman theatre, a stunning 4th-century Christian Basilica with remarkably well-preserved mosaics, and the iconic Swan Mosaic—a true masterpiece!

Our journey continues to Vouni Palace, the island’s only Persian-style palace. Dramatically perched 250 meters (820 feet) above sea level, this site offers breathtaking panoramic views over Morphou Bay and the majestic Troodos Mountains. In spring, the landscape is even more vibrant, with charming strawberry fields adding a splash of color along the roads!

Our final stop is Lefke, a designated Cittaslow town renowned for its laid-back, traditional Cypriot lifestyle, impressive Ottoman-era aqueducts, and North Cyprus's second-largest dam. After immersing ourselves in Lefke's unique atmosphere, we'll return to our original meeting point, concluding a day of authentic discovery!
